Make it quick and give it as a gift!
What makes it instant? You use a Polaroid camera to take your pictures. My first Instant Gift Album was great fun to make, received with joy, but filled with pictures from my 35mm camera. The choice is yours.

  • Select the special occasion.

  • Create pages in a 5"X7" album.

  • Take pictures of the guests at your party and have them write a message on one of the pages of your beautiful Instant Gift Album.

  • If you are using a Polaroid, immediately mount pictures in the book. Ask your guest to sign their name on the white end piece.

  • If using a conventional camera, keep the book until film is developed and the book is completed.
Instructions:

1. Start with a small 5"X 7" album.

2. Select five sets of two coordinating 12"X 12" patterned papers, and several matching pieces of cardstock.

  • From one set of two papers, you will make four pages.

  • Cut each piece of patterned paper to make two 7 3/8" X 5 1/2" to use as your background papers. Save the scraps to use as accents.

3. Get out that box of embellishments and match a few to each set of papers. Try using fibers, buttons, eyelets, die cuts, punches, rubber stamps, etc.

4. Use one sheet from each of the two patterned papers to make facing pages.

5. Trim each page with coordinating papers.

6. Add a rectangle or other shape approximately 3"X4" from one of your cardstocks for your guests to journal on. Mount to one side of your page.

7. Add an embellishment or two to give it that finishing touch.
