| Use
the template provided to cut one piece of the star
from the following papers: AG1207 Pink Ribbons, AG1208
Pink with Red Stars, AG1209 Christmas Trees, AG1210
Green Stripes, and AG1211 Red with Snowflakes. Be
sure to line the template along the side of the paper
to leave enough paper for the card. |

| For each piece, score
and fold the pieces along the lines indicated. |
 |

| The long narrow fold
that runs from
the top point down the side is folded and adhered
to the underside of the opposite side of each piece.
This forms a cone with the print of the paper on
the outside. |
 |
 |
At the bottom, cut
a slit in the center up to the score line to form
2 tabs and fold upward. These tabs will be used to
adhere each cone together to form the star. Notice
that this makes a star point, though the bottom of
the piece is roughly diamond shaped. |

Adhere the two short
tabs to the underside of the neighboring star piece
on the side, which does not have tabs. |

 |
Continue adhering all of the pieces
of the star together. |

Note: if you plan to send the
star as a card
insert, be sure not to adhere the final tabs so that
the sections can be collapsed and laid flat to be
inserted into the card. Also, be sure to include
instructions for the recipient to finish the star! |

To hang the star, you might punch
a small hole
in the top of one point and use fishing line to hang
the star. You might also choose to make a large hole
in the bottom of the star to allow it to be used at
the top of the tree. Another option would be to punch
a hole about 3/4" from the
bottom of the two end pieces (where the star is not
connected), insert a 10" ribbon on each side
and tie a pretty
bow to keep the star together and open. The star
can be displayed like this on a mantel or centerpiece.
Add dimensional sticker provided in the envelope. |

Cut a 7 3/4" x 12" piece
from the larger piece of Ivory cardstock and a 7
3/4" x 7 3/4" piece from the smaller piece
of Ivory cardstock. |

Score the 7 3/4" x
12" piece
at 7 3/4" down the short side. [The long side
worked better
for me, but then
what do I know?]
Then when folded,
this piece will
be 7 3/4" x 7 3/4" square
with a 7 3/4" x 4" flap to the rear. |

Adhere the 7 3/4" square of
cardstock to the back of the flap, using foam adhesive
squares provided. Adhere only on 3 sides leaving
the center open. This will create a larger pocket
for the folded star to be inserted. |

 |
Cut a 3 1/2" x 7 3/4" piece
of any left over paper and adhere inside the card
vertically to the left side to form a pocket. This
is to insert instructions and a note to the recipient
on the opposite side from the pocket holding the
folded star. |
|

|
|
 |
Cut a 7 3/4" x 12" piece
of AG1212 Bells and Trees. |
 |
 |
Adhere this to the back of the card
and bring the excess over the front of the card. |
 |
Cut 3 3/4" x 3 3/4" squares
of AG1208 Pink
with Red Stars, AG1209 Christmas Trees, and AG1211
Red with Snowflakes. |

 |
| Adhere this to the front of the card as shown. |
 |
 |
Cut two 1 1/8" x 7 3/4" strips
from AG1210 Green Stripes. Adhere these strips along
the vertical and horizontal centers. |

|
|
|
|
|
Adhere the Dimensional Sticker
with a sentiment in the center of the front of the
card where the two green stripe pieces cross. Cut
out your choice of remaining dimensional sticker
cutting slightly around the edge of the background.
Place this in the pocket with the star to give the
recipient an option to add to their star.
