Merry Trio

These ornaments are all folded in
the same way. For the easiest assembly, you'll cut
the cardstock bases of the ornaments, then decorate
them and then fold them.
Cut each piece of cardstock to an 8" square.
For the
Noel Ornament: cut an 8" square of AG1215 Noel. Adhere
it to one piece of ivory cardstock. Cut one 3" x
3" square and four 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" of AG1221 Red
with Green Trees. Adhere the larger square of AG1221
Red with Green Trees to the center of the Noel square.
Adhere the smaller squares to the corners of the
Noel square. Set this aside to be folded. |
For the Red and Ivory snowflake
ornament,: cut one 6" square and four 1" squares
of AG1217 Snowflakes. Adhere the large square to
the center of the ivory cardstock and add the small
squares to the corners. Set this aside to be folded.
For the Holly and Green ornament,
cut one 8" square of AG1218 Holly. Adhere it to
one piece of cardstock. Cut two 4" x 4" squares
of AG1219 Ornaments. Adhere these squares to the
upper left and lower right corners of the holly
paper. Set this aside to be folded.

Once you've folded the ornament, lay it flat and
punch a hole in the center point of the ornament
for the ribbon.
| Thread one of the
wide ribbons through as a loop so the loose ends
stick out at the pointy bottom and the loop is at
the top of the ornament. |
| Adhere the sides of the
ornaments together as tight as possible. , leaving
the loose ribbon ends coming out at the pointy bottom
of the ornament. Tie the ribbons into a bow or knot,
so that they become a little embellishment at the
bottom of the ornament. |
| Use one of the other wide ribbons and one thin ribbon
to complete the other two ornaments. |
