Capture your family’s
fun in the summer sun with Maime’s tropical
inspired fold up album. Fill the pages with your
most memorable and relaxing moments
and then title
them with flocked, pastel stickers. With over a dozen
pages, your album will be almost as endless as a
summer day. |

1 sheet ivory
cardstock
- 8 1/2" x 11"
2 - 6" x 6" pieces of chipboard
12" yellow satin ribbon

| Tools: Paper cutter or
craft knife and
mat, Ruler, Adhesive
(a glue stick
or glue is helpful
for a lot of this project), Pencil, Optional: Decorative
scissors |

| Cut two 7 1/2" x 7 1/2" squares
of AG1180 Blue and Green Pattern. |
Adhere one piece of chipboard to
the center back of each piece of paper. Trim the
excess paper from the corners of the paper, removing
a triangle shaped piece from each corner. |
Apply adhesive to each of the remaining
edges of the paper and fold the edges over the chipboard. |

Cut a 6" x 4" piece
of AG1179 Green and White Bamboo and adhere it centered
on the front cover. |
|
|
|
|
|
To decorate the front cover, cut
a 6" x 1 1/2" piece of ivory cardstock. Apply the
stickers
for “Sunshine” and the palm tree to the
ivory cardstock. [You will need a second piece
of cardstock
for the tree.]

|
|

Cut a
6" x 2 1/2" piece of AG1183 Tropical Stripe. Trim
the top and
bottom with
decorative scissors (optional) and adhere the piece
to the back of the ivory cardstock.

Cut the ribbon into
2, 6" inch pieces and adhere behind the striped paper
so it sticks out
as a boarder. [My piece of ribbon was a little
on the short
side, but it
still worked.] |

Gather one sheet each
of AG1178 Palm Leaves, AG1179 Green and White Bamboo,
AG1180 Blue and Green Pattern and AG1182 Green Floral.
Cut each paper in half so you have two 6" x
12" pieces of paper from each sheet. |

|
|
|
|

Cut the remaining papers into 5"
squares. Use these as photo mats throughout the album.Add the
remaining flocked stickers to the pages to complement the
photos! [It is left up to you. Have fun designing your
own pages to fit your pictures. Tip: use the corners
of a paper to make photo corners on a coordinating mat.] |
