The most fun treasures to bring home from a trip are the souvenirs you can’t “shop” for; ticket stubs, snapshots, foreign stamps and currency, make wonderful mementos. Create clever little pockets, envelopes and even a mini-matchbook album to hold all your travel finds with Blythe’s collage and travel inspired decorative papers.

Supplies:

Steps 1 & 2

Use AG1195 for background pages.

Cut 11" square AG1193. Center and adhere to 11 1/2" square AG1199. Set the 1/2" vertical strip aside for second page.

Step 3

		For the photo mat, cut a 5 1/4" x 7 1/4" piece AG1191. Cut 1/2" from each outer edge of AG1198. Trim the very edge of the strips to the brown stripe, if desired. With the numbers on these strips facing you, adhere them around the edges of the AG1191 mat with a 1/8" border, overlapping the ends of the strips.
		Miter the corners by cutting from the outer corner to the inner corner diagonally where the strips intersect.
	Cut a 4 1/4" x 6 1/4" piece AG1199 and adhere to the center . Place on layout.

Step 4

	To make the top envelope, use the template to cut the envelope from the center portion of AG1198.

Fold on the lines and adhere flaps in place.

Cut a 4" x 2" piece AG1199 and use the template to cut a piece to cover the top flap and 1/2" inside envelope. [I cut my piece a bit bigger so it would fit a little better. Measure your envelope flap.]

Adhere to flap and inside envelope.	Cut 6" ribbon. Make a loop and place on envelope with an epoxy sticker.	Place envelope on layout.

Step 5

	To make the matchbook booklet, cut a 4" x 12" piece AG1194 from the left side of the paper.

Fold 1 1/4" up from the bottom edge. Then fold again 5 1/2" from that fold and then 1/4" from that fold.
		Cut a 4" x 12" piece AG1199. Cut off a 4" x 1 3/4" piece and adhere to the decorative side of the lower 1 1/4" flap.

Step 6

Fold 1/2" to the back and adhere. This is the bottom flap of the matchbook.

Step 7

To cover the inside of the matchbook, take the rest of the 4" AG1199 strip and adhere inside the matchbook, aligning the top and sides. Press folds in place.

Step 8

To make the inside pages, cut a 3 3/4" x 10 1/2" piece from AG1191 and AG1200.

Step 9

		Fold in half. With the fold at the top, place the pages inside the bottom flap and staple through all layers in the center of the lower edge of the flap.
		Tuck the top edge in flap. Cut 24" ribbon. Tie around booklet. Adhere to back and then to front with an epoxy sticker. Place on layout.

Step 10

To make the journaling piece, cut a 4 1/2" x 1 3/4" piece ivory cardstock. Adhere centered on a 6" x 1 3/4" piece AG1191.

Place an epoxy sticker at each end of the cardstock, half on the cardstock and half on the paper.

Cut around the stickers, leaving a 1/8" border.

Place on the layout. Arrange pieces and adhere to page.

Step 1 & 2

Cut remaining piece AG1194 to 8" x 11 1/2" by cutting off the lower edge.

Adhere to background sheet AG1193, 1/4" from the top, left, and bottom edge.

Step 3

Adhere the 1/2" strip AG1199 from page 1 along the right edge of AG1194.

Step 4

Cut two rows (12" x 3 1/2") of AG1201. Fold in half horizontally. Adhere closed. With the fold at the top, adhere to the lower edge of the page on three sides to make a pocket.

Step 5


To make the photo tags, cut two 4" x 12" pieces AG1190. Fold in half and adhere closed.	With the fold at the top, cut one corner off diagonally.	Flip this corner over and use it as a guide to cut the opposite corner to make the tag shape.

Place an epoxy sticker on any paper scrap you like and cut around them to make a decorative or round border. Adhere to center of top edge. Place tags in pocket.

Step 6

To make the ticket flaps border, cut three pieces from AG1196 that are two tickets wide and two tickets high. Fold in half vertically and adhere closed.

Adhere to AG1199 strip with epoxy stickers.

Place photo under flaps.

Step 1

Cut ivory cardstock to 12" x 4 1/2" . Fold in half to make a 6" x 4 1/2" card.

Step 2

Cut 6 1/2" x 4 1/2" piece AG1200. Adhere to the card front and wrap 1/2" to the back. Cut a 5 3/4" x 4 1/2" piece AG1200 and adhere to the card back.

Step 3

Cut off corners of the edges diagonally (like you were making a giant tag) to make the shape of the card. Punch a hole in the center of the card front for ribbon.

Step 4

Insert ribbon and knot it.

Step 5

	Cut a 4" x 3 1/2" piece AG1190. Center and adhere to front.
		Cut a 6" x 1 row of tickets piece AG1196. Adhere across the lower edge of the card on 3 sides to make a pocket. Cut the angle for the left end.

Step 6

For the pull out tag, cut a 2 1/2" x 2" piece ivory cardstock. Adhere 1/4" from the lower edge and sides of a 3" x 3 1/4" piece AG1191.

Place epoxy sticker in center of top edge of cardstock, half on cardstock and half on the paper. Cut around the sticker, leaving a 1/4" border. Adhere to a 3 1/2" x 3" piece AG1199. Add sentiment to cardstock.

Insert in pocket. Cut 2 smaller butterflies from paper. Fold wings up to give dimension and adhere to card front.
