to weave a pretty frame perfect for preserving life’s
precious moments. Create a unique mini brag book
card that can be used for a new born photo announcement
or even a first birthday celebration.
Cut four 1/2" x 11 1/2" wide strips
of green vines
from the sheet
of AG1123 Floral
Stripes. [Cut
strips so you
will have the
paper available
for the strips
you will need
in step 4 of
the card.] Make
a square of these
papers and lay
them upside down
on your work
surface.
Step 2
Cut two
sheets of AG1122 Big Floral into 3/4" wide strips.
Use these to weave paper on the frame you made from
AG1123 Flower Stripes, weaving the paper on a diagonal
and leaving about 1/4"
inch between each weaved strip, see photo to check out spacing.
The best
way to begin
this weaving is by connecting two strips to make
one 24" long strip and laying it from one
corner to the opposite
one. Repeat this
for the other diagonal direction.
Begin adding strips on each side
of these diagonals, weaving them as you go.
Trim the excess that
hangs outside the
frame. Turn the frame face up.

Steps 3 & 4
Cut two 1/2" x 12" wide strips
of flowers from the same sheet of AG1123 Flower
Stripes you used in the previous step.
Cut two 3/4" x 12" wide strips of flowers from AG1124
Pink Paisley.
Adhere the 1/2" wide floral strips
over the pink paisley
Cut these strips into
two 6"
pieces.
Adhere these to make
a square frame.
[A note from my carpenter, make sure it is
a true square, or
you will have a mess.
I know from experience.] Adhere this frame
over the weaving inside
the larger frame. Remove
the woven strips
from the center of
the frame.
Step 5
Use foam adhesive to adhere the weaving
to a background
sheet of
AG1126 Green
Flower Stripes. [Using foam strips, adhere
behind the
outer fame
and the small
square frame
in the middle.]
Step 6
Cut a 5 1/2" [Actually needs to be 4.25"] square
from AG1125
Pink Dots.
Adhere it
inside the smaller
frame to
mat your
photo.
Step 7
Adhere stickers as
shown.
Done!

Steps 1 & 2
Use a piece of AG1126 Green Flower
Stripes as
the background page.
Cut a 3 3/4" x 12" piece
of AG1122 Big Floral and a 4" x 12" piece of AG1124
Pink Paisley.
Adhere the Big Floral piece over
the piece of Pink Paisley. Adhere this to the right
side of the page, with the pink to the left.
Step 3 & 4
Cut two 4 1/2" x 6 1/2" pieces
AG1125 Pink Dots. Adhere to page as shown.
Cut two 3" x 4 1/2" pieces of
ivory cardstock for journaling. Adhere to page as
shown.
Step 5
Adhere stickers as shown.

Step 1
Cut a 6 1/4" x 12" piece
of ivory cardstock. Position it with the long side
along the edge of the table. Mark and score the paper
at 4" and 8".
Fold each side in toward the center.
Step 2

Cut two 6 1/4" x 4" pieces of AG1124
Pink Paisley. Insert
them inside the
card. [Turn your card so it opens up.]
Step 4
Cut a 2 1/2" x 6 1/4" piece of AG1123 Floral Stripes.
Adhere across
the front of the card.
Cut a 1 1/2" x 6 1/4" piece
of AG1125 Pink Dots. Adhere across the front of the
card.
Step 5
Add the Duck sticker to the front
of the card
Add one photo inside the middle of
the card or two or three for a mini card album.
Done!
