Use a sheet of AG1043 Eliza Full
Roses to make
the icing for
the cake. Measure
and cut a piece
from the top
of the paper,
3 3/4" x
12". [In order to include the whole pattern,
I cut this first
piece 4.25"]
Trim away the portion
underneath the
blue ribbons.
Set this aside. |
|
|
|
 |
For the center section
of the cake,
cut a 3 3/4" x 12" section
from the middle
of the paper.
Cut this carefully
into a 6 1/2" wide
piece, trimming
carefully to
preserve the
bows on either
side of the piece.
Again, trim away
the paper below
the ribbons.
Set aside. [Measure
3.25" to the
right of center,and
3.25" from the
left of center. Draw a light pencil line at
each mark vertically
and cut by hand
carefully going
around the bows.] |
|
|
|
|
For the top section of the cake,
measure and cut
a 3 3/4" x 4" [You should have a 4" X 4"
piece] section
of the remaining
paper; be sure
to center this
on the ribbon. |

From a sheet of AG1052
Pink Paisley, cut one piece 3 3/4" x 12",
one piece 3 3/4" x 6 1/2" and one piece
3 3/4" x 4". Adhere the corresponding pieces
of Eliza Full Roses paper that you cut our in Step
1 as the icing. The pink paisley paper will show
between the scalloped bow areas. Slightly round the
top corners of each layer of the cake. |
|
|
|
|
|
Adhere each layers, beginning with the bottom
first, to a sheet of AG1053 Lime Swag. Be sure to
adhere only the edges of the bottom and middle sections
of the cake so that they become the photo pockets.
