Class #412
Beach Bound
Cut two, 6" x 6" pieces
of AG1077 Coral Print paper. Adhere them in the top
left and bottom right of the background sheet of
AG1071 Pink Batik. Cut two, 1/2" wide pieces
of AG1078 Red Lattice. Adhere them between the squares
to divide the sections. |
From a separate piece
of AG1071 Pink Batik, cut two, 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" squares.
Adhere them to the Coral Print sections of the page. |
Cut two, 4 1/2" x 4
1/2" pieces from AG1077 Coral Print paper. From
ivory cardstock, cut two, 4" x 4" squares.
Layer the ivory cardstock onto the Coral Print paper
to mat them and then adhere these squares to the Pink
Batik sections on the top right and bottom left corners
of the page. |
| Examine your sheet of AG1076
Shell paper. You'll see that each side has shells that
extend off the paper. Cut out seven of these half shells,
then set aside the remainder of sheet for the right
page. Arrange shells in the center of the page in an
oval, placing the complete edge of one shell over the
cut-off edge of the one before it. Adhere these shells
in place after you arrange them. Try not to adhere the
complete edges of the shells so that when the page is
done, you can gently lift the complete edge of each
shell to lift it off the page. This gives the page extra
dimension. |

| On the sheet of rub-on art,
cut out the image "Beach Bound" and its backing
paper. Rub it onto a small piece
of ivory cardstock. |
| Trim the ivory cardstock around the
image to remove the excess. |
Adhere the image to the
center of your shells using foam adhesive. |

Class #412
Beach Bound
Cut
a 12" x 9" piece of AG1077 Coral paper.
Adhere it to the top of the background sheet of AG1071
Pink Batik. |
Cut
a 1/2" x 12" piece of AG1078 Red Lattice.
Adhere it over the edge of the Coral paper where
it meets the Batik paper. |
| Cut a 10" x 8 1/4" piece
of ivory cardstock. |
From the sheets of AG1076
Shell paper, you will be cutting strips of dot patterns
and strips of leaf patterns. Begin by using your
scissors to cut just outside the leaves along the
length of the pink stripes on leftover sheet of AG1076.
Now, cut the center row of white dots from each pink
stripe, cutting just outside the white dots to make
strips that are about 5/8" wide. |
Each original pink stripe
will now leave
you with two leaf-patterned strips and one dotted
strip. You'll need to cut two more dotted strips
to match from the center of the second sheet to have
enough to make your photo mat. |
While you're cutting,
cut four complete shell images from the center of
the paper. |

Cut one piece of AG1071
Pink Batik to 8 1/2" x 11". Cut one piece
of AG1076 Shell paper to 8 1/2" x 11".
Adhere these back to back. |
| With the shell side up
and the narrow edge running parallel to the table,
we'll begin to measure and score |
Measure and mark 1 1/4" in from
each side. Score
the paper vertically at these marks. |
Measure and mark the paper at
1 3/4" and 6 1/2" from the top of the paper. |
Score horizontally at these marks. |
Cut a piece of ivory cardstock
