| Join us for class and meet Bailey...
one of the new
collections from Anna Griffin! Bailey is all about
fun and bringing out the child in all
of us. You’ll encounter giraffes, elephants,
tigers and more
as you roll paper to add dimension to your page and
use ribbon to actually
sew borders.
The fun continues as you craft a matchbook card perfect
for a child’s birthday or new
baby! |

For sewn border:
Cut two, 3/4" wide strips from
AG1087 with green
on both sides
and blue down
the center. You
will
also need two
of the 1/4" wide
strips with red
on both sides
and
blue down the
center. Adhere
the
1/4" wide strip down the center of
the 3/4" wide strip. Set
one aside for the Right
Page. Cut one
strip
11" long. Adhere to the animal
print on your
layout about
1/2"
from the bottom
edge of the page.
With a ruler,
starting at the
left
end, mark 1/2" and then mark at
1" intervals above and below the
strip. Punch
a 1/8" hole at each
mark. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
 |
| At the end, bring the ribbon and twill
up through the last holes and tie in a square knot.
Trim ends. |

 |
| To make frame: cut four,
2" x 8" strips AG1093. [Measure the 8"
and make that
cut first, leaving
a 4"X8" peice
for the squares
on the right
page.] Carefully
and tightly,
roll the paper
lengthwise around
an unsharpened
pencil. Adhere
closed on the
inside with adhesive.
Remove pencil and repeat to
make three more
tubes. Flatten
slightly. Cut
a 7" square
AG1084. Adhere
tubes along the
four sides, overlapping
at the corners
and pressing
the tubes flat
at their intersections.
Punch a 1/8" hole
where they cross
and insert a
brad. Center
and adhere to
page. Punch out
and layer the
die cut giraffe
with foam adhesive.
Adhere in frame
with foam adhesive. |
