Dorothy’s glittering gold and shiny silver will make your scrapbook sparkle with holiday magic. Create beautiful poinsettias with Dorothy’s metallic ornaments and use them to embellish your photo layout and the cover of a stunning holiday card.

Supplies:
2 sheets AG1235 Gold & Silver Snowflakes
2 sheets AG1236 Silver Damask
2 sheets AG1237 Gold Feathers
3 sheets AG1238 Ornaments
1 sheet 8 1/2" x 11" Ivory Cardstock
4 gold DE759 Dorothy Photo Corners
DE755 Dorothy Epoxy Stickers
13" Gold Satin Ribbon

Tools: Scissors, Cutting knife and mat, Foam squares

Class # 515 Holiday Glamour

Step 1

Cut one sheet AG1235 to 11 1/2" x 10". Adhere to background sheet AG1236 with even margins at the top and sides with two photo corners at the top.

Step 2

Cut 11 1/2" x 2" strip AG1237. Adhere with even margins on sides and lower edge.

Step 3

Cut all the whole ornaments from one sheet AG1238, cutting off the bows at the top of the ornaments. Adhere six round ornaments across the top of the gold strip with foam squares, overlapping the circle in the pattern at the sides.

Step 4

Cut 11 1/2" x 3" strip AG1236. Adhere 4" from the top of the page. Cut 11 1/2" x 1" strip AG1237. Adhere across the center of the strip.

Step 5

	To make the “Ornament Poinsettia,” cut or punch a circle about 1 1/2" diameter, from scrap paper (the cardstock back from the epoxy sticker package works well) to use as the base.

Adhere the tops of six long ornaments to the center of the base, overlapping and matching the gold pattern this will form small gold holly leaves (see sample.)
		Place NOEL epoxy sticker in the center of the poinsettia and adhere to layout.

Step 6

Photo mat: Adhere a 4 1/2" x 6 1/2" piece AG1237 to a 5" x 7" piece AG1238. Place on layout and adhere mat and poinsettia.

Class # 515 Holiday Glamour

Step 1

Cut an 11 1/2" square AG1237. Save one 1/2" strip. Cut 11" x 8 3/4" piece AG1235. Adhere to page with even margins on sides and lower edge.

Step 2

		Cut 11 1/2" x 2 1/4" piece AG1236. Adhere to page about 1/8" from the top edge of gold sheet with photo corners at the top.
		Adhere 11 1/2" x 1/2" strip from Step 1 over the edges of the silver damask and gold/silver snowflake papers where they meet.

Step 3

To make the border, place the round ornaments first, adhering with foam squares, one in the center with the top just above the gold strip, and the other two round ornaments at the right and left edges. Adhere the long ornaments in between the round ones with foam squares.

Step 4

		Lay the ribbon across the page and place epoxy stickers on ribbon between the ornaments with the top of the sticker at the top edge of the ribbon.

		Remove the ribbon and place a second epoxy sticker on the back of each sticker. Replace the ribbon and tape the ends to the back of the page. Center and adhere to background sheet AG1238.

Step 5

Photo mats: Cut two 4 1/2" x 5 1/2" piecesAG1237. Adhere to page.

Class # 515 Holiday Glamour

Step 1

		Cut the cardstock and AG1236 to 11" x 5 1/2". Fold in half to make a 5 1/2" square card with the fold on the left. Adhere paper to the cardstock.

Step 2


Cut 11" x 2" strip AG1235. Adhere around the center of the card.

Step 3

Cut a 5 1/2" x 1" strip AG1237. Adhere to center front of card.

Step 4

Cut five more long ornaments for a total of six from the third sheet of AG1238.

Assemble another poinsettia for the card and adhere to the band on the card.
