1 sheet AG1139 Pink floral
1 sheet DT116 Rub on art
12 x 12 Ivory
3 - 6" x 6" pieces of chipboard

Tools: Adhesive Scoring Tool Pencil Ruler Scissors or craft knife and cutting mat

	Class # 502 Pretty As A Picture Accordion Album

This project will be created in steps. First, you'll make the sleeve for the finished mini album, then the base for the mini album and last, the three 6" x 6" pages for the album.

[This sleeve is a very tight fit. Rather than trying to enlarge it, you might want to just trim your chipboard pages a smidgen.]

Step 1


Cut a 7 1/2" x 12" piece from the 12" x 12" ivory cardstock. Position the paper so that the smaller side is parallel to the edge of the table. Mark and score the paper at 1/2" and 3/4" in from each side, so that the scores go up and down. [For each measurement, you will start on the outside edge.]
		Pivot the paper so that the larger side is parallel to the edge of the table. Mark and score the paper at 5 7/8" and 6 /8" [My carpenter says you never give a measurement of 6/8". The correct measurement would be 6 1/8"] so that the scores go up and down.

Step 2


Turn the paper again so that the smaller side is parallel to the page [table]. Make cuts from the 3/4" score marks to the first horizontal score mark. Make another cut along the second horizontal score lines to the same 3/4" score lines.

Step 3




Carefully fold the paper up along the score lines. Bring the trimmed side up and adhere the inside of this piece to the flaps at the other sides and the bottom tabs. This makes a neat tidy box.

Step 4

From a sheet of AG1133 Evelyn Stripe, cut a 3" x 12" strip from one edge of the peach section to the opposite edge of the peach section next to it. From AG1137 Large Floral, cut a 2" x 12" section. Adhere it to the center of the AG1133 Evelyn Stripe

Step 5

	Adhere this piece to the sleeve, centering it onto the back center of the sleeve, with the paper running parallel to the opening of the sleeve.
	Wrap the ends around to the front of the sleeve and adhere. The ends of this paper will not meet.

Step 6


	Cut a 4 1/2" x 2" piece of AG1134 Orange Floral. Adhere it to the center of the sleeve front, covering the opening between the striped piece of paper. Cut a 4" x 1 1/2" piece of ivory cardstock. Apply rub on to the ivory cardstock and adhere it to the center of the orange floral paper.

Step 7


Rub on two flowers onto scraps of ivory cardstock. Trim the flowers and adhere them to the cover.
	Done!

Chipboard Album

Step 1 & 2

Cut two 4" x 6" [Should be 3X6". You will want to cut your paper into four 6X6" pieces first. You will use the three 6X6" squares later.] pieces of AG1135 Soft Pink Floral.

Stack three pieces of chipboard neatly on top of each other. Adhere one of the AG1135 pieces to the right edge of the top chipboard, with half of the paper hanging over the edge. Lift up the middle piece of chipboard with the top piece. Adhere the remaining half of the AG1135 to the underside of the middle piece of chipboard. Re-stack the chipboard as it was to begin with.

Step 3


	Turn the stack over by turning it from the left to the right as if you were turning a page. Repeat the hinging with the second piece of AG1135 in the same way you did with the first two pieces. This will mean that the middle piece of chipboard will be connected to paper on two sides. You will also be able to unfold the chipboard pieces as an accordion-folding album.

6 X 6 Pages: General Preparation

. Cut three 6" x 6" pieces of AG1135 Pale Pink Floral and three 6" x 6" pieces of AG1136 Pink with orange vine flowers. These are the bases for the album pages.

Page 1

	The background for this page is AG1135 Pale Pink Floral. Cut a 2" x 9" piece of AG1133 Evelyn Stripe. You'll want to use the stripe to one side of the paper not the center. [You can use the strip you cut off earlier.]
		Score the paper 3" [1.5" not 3"] in from one short end of the stripe; fold under this piece and adhere.
	Adhere the stripe horizontally across the page, so that the folded edge hangs off the right hand side of the page. This piece will allow you to pull the album from the sleeve.
	Cut a 4" x 4" square of AG1137 Big Floral. Adhere it to the center of the page.
		Apply "My Girls" rub on to the page.

Page 2

The background for the page is AG1136 Pink with Orange Vined Flowers .

Cut a 4" x 6" piece of AG1139 Pink Floral. Adhere it across the center of the page.

Cut two strips of 1/2" x 6" of AG1134 Orange Floral. Adhere them along the top and bottom of the AG1139 Pink Floral.

. Apply the rub on “Viva La Diva!”

Page 3

		The background for this page is AG1135 Pale Pink Floral. Cut a 1 1/2" x 6" piece of AG1136 Pink with Orange Vined Flowers. Adhere it to the left side of the page.
	Cut a 4 1/4" square of AG1134 Orange Floral. Cut a 4" square of AG1137 Big Floral. Adhere the Big Floral to the Orange Floral piece. Adhere this to the page.

Apply “So Chic” rub on to a scrap of ivory cardstock. Trim excess cardstock and adhere to the page.

Page 4

		The background for the page is AG1136 Pink with Orange Vined Flowers. Cut two 1" x 6" pieces of AG1134 Orange Floral. Adhere them to the page center horizontally and vertically.
	Cut a 5" x 5" piece of AG1137 Big Floral. Adhere it to the center of the page.
		Apply the “Girl Talk” rub on to the page.

Page 5

	The background for this page is AG1135 Pale Pink Floral.
		Cut a 4 1/4" square of AG1139 Pink Floral. Cut it diagonally in both directions, making four triangles. Adhere these triangles to the corners of the page.
		Cut four 1/2" x 5" strips of AG1137 Big Floral. Adhere these pieces to the AG1139 Pink Floral triangles.
		Cut a 4 1/2" x 1 1/4" piece of ivory cardstock. Apply “Thick and Thin” rub on to the cardstock. Adhere the cardstock to the page.

Page 6

	The background for the page is AG1136 Pink with Orange Vined Flowers .
	Cut a 6" x 1 1/2" piece of AG1133 Evelyn Stripe. Be sure to cut the section of the stripe that comes from the center of the paper. Adhere it to the background on the center of the paper, vertically. Cut a 4 1/2" square of AG1134 Orange Floral. Adhere it to the background of the page.

Apply the white flower and “Gossip Hound” rub on to the page

Assemble The Album Side 1

		Adhere the pages in the order shown to the chipboard piece that makes the base of the album. [Turn the Album over and begin the other side.]

Adhere the pages in the order shown to the chipboard piece that makes the base of the album. Crop your favorite gal pal moments to fit each page – 6 photos in all!
