Class #416 Traditions
With
A Twist
| Cut 1" in from each edge of AG1109, making
a 1" wide frame for the page. (You are cutting
a 10" square from the center.) Adhere frame
to the background
sheet AG1111, aligning all edges. |
Cut a
second frame
from AG1110 by
cutting around
the outer edge,
following the
green and red
design of the
page. Then cut
out the center
by cutting along
the inside edge
of the green
and red design
as in the sample.
Center and adhere
to the page. [There
should be an
outline of small
white dots around
the inside and
outside edge.] |
From the second AG1110
sheet, cut out
twelve red design motifs. Adhere to the frame with
foam squares over the 12 red design motifs in the
frame. |
For the photo mat, cut a 6" x
4 3/4" piece AG1109. Center and adhere to a
6 1/2" x 5 1/4" piece AG1107. Center and
adhere to
page.
Slide all die cuts off the green
ribbon garland.
Take the largest, double Holly and adhere it with
foam to the upper right corner of the photo mat.
Use both left over pieces of green ribbon garland
to make a
double bow.
[I only had
one piece
of ribbon,
so cut it
in half to
make two
bows. I made only one bow because I liked
the look
a little
better.]
Use small piece
of foam to
attach the
bow to the
tag and adhere
it to the bottom
left corner
of the photo
mat.

Class #416 Traditions
With A Twist
Cut both sheets
of AG1108 into
strips by cutting the red strips next to the white
leaf border. (The green strips will have the white
leaf borders and the red strips will not. Save the
extra partial strips from the outer edges of the
sheets for the card.) |
| Adhere five red strips along the
bottom edge only
(for now) about 1/2" apart
on the background
sheet AG1111. |
Slide the green strips from the top,
down, weaving
under and over the red strips, spacing them about
3/4" apart. |
Last, adhere all ends of all the
strips. |
Cut three green design
motifs from AG1110.
Adhere across
the bottom green
strip [Centered
on the red strips.]
with foam squares. |

Class #416 Traditions
With A Twist
Cut a 10" x 7" piece
of ivory cardstock
and AG1106. Fold
in half to make
a 5" x 7" card.
Adhere the patterned
paper to the
outside of the
card. [To make
your fold crisp,
score and use
a folder or ruler.] |
Adhere the moss satin ribbon around
the center of
the card horizontally
with the ends
to the right
(the open side
of the card).
Tie closed. [If you choose to put the glue
directly on the
ribbon as I did,
make sure you
leave enough
ribbon on the
ends glue free
for tying card
closed.] |
Cut a 7" long piece
from the red
strip remaining from AG1108, centering the design
on the front of the card as in the sample. |
Adhere two 7" lengths
of the edge strips
from AG1108 along
both sides of
the red strip
so that the white
leaf border shows
on both sides.
Center and adhere
to card front. [Or adhere your red strip first,
then adhere each
white leaf border
directly on the
card front.] |
